1 large pomelo,peeled & segmented
1 red chili,sliced
1 clove garlic,crushed
1 tsp honey,
1 stalk lemongrass,sliced
2 limes,squeezed
fresh coriander
Mix everything & decorate with fresh coriander.

Rheumatism pains in the joints,swellings from the falls:
Take 60-250 g of fresh pomelo skin & 30 g of fresh ginger.
Crush together & apply to the affected place.
Do this daily.

Hernia of the small intestine:
Take 9-15 grams of the seeds, crush them, add water, steam & serve.
Do this twice daily, both in the morning & in the evening.

Candied Pomelo Peel:
Trim off the outer layer of the skin, place in water & boil.
Strain,dry then place in boiling melted sugar.
Remove from the heat, let it cool & it can be kept to use as needed.


For aging,dull skin with rash,skin allergy:
Take 1 unripe pomelo, cut up with peel & simmer in water.
Strain.Cool.Use the liquid to wash the affected parts 3x a day.
Also eat some unripe pomelo 3x a day.


The Chinese believe that the pomelo tree is a sacred plant, so its leaves are spiritually cleansing.
For example, after attending a funeral, a traditional practice to ward off any loitering malevolent spirits is to bathe in water containing pomelo leaves.
