COTTON GRASS


Eating the raw stems can improve general health.
Cotton grass was once used as a dressing for wounds.
The leaves & roots are extremely astringent & have been used  as a treatment for diarrhea.

RECIPES:

Young stem bases & root can be used raw or cooked with oil. 

Arthritis Pain Tea:

1 part stinging nettle
1 part cotton grass
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
honey
Take 1 tbsp of  herbs.
Pour over with 1 cup of boiling water.
Cool. Strain.
Add vinegar.
Sweeten with honey before drinking. 
Drink 2 cups a day between the meals on empty stomach for 2 weeks.

MAGIC:

Bog cotton, as it is more commonly known in Ireland, is said to have been cursed by St. Patrick.
